Surah Taha (طه)

20:1
طه
Taa Haa (only Allaah knows best the correct meaning of these letters).
20:2
مَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِتَشْقَىٰٓ
We have not revealed the Qur'aan to you to cause you difficulty (you should therefore not make its teachings difficult for yourself).
20:3
إِلَّا تَذْكِرَةً لِّمَن يَخْشَىٰ
However, it (the Qur'aan) is advice for him who fears (the punishment of Allaah).
20:4
تَنزِيلًا مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ ٱلْعُلَى
(The Qur'aan is) A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the lofty skies.
20:5
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱسْتَوَىٰ
Ar Rahmaan is firmly in control of the Throne. (None has any share in His kingdom.)
20:6
لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَمَا تَحْتَ ٱلثَّرَىٰ
To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens, whatever is in the earth, whatever is between the two, and whatever is beneath the clay.
20:7
وَإِن تَجْهَرْ بِٱلْقَوْلِ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلسِّرَّ وَأَخْفَى
Even if you speak loudly, (it makes no difference to Him because) He knows what is whispered and all that is even more hidden (such as the unspoken thoughts of the heart).
