The Holy Quran 20:20 — Surah Taha

Arabic text

فَأَلْقَىٰهَا فَإِذَا هِىَ حَيَّةٌ تَسْعَىٰ

Translation

So he threw it down, and suddenly it was a slithering (living, running) snake.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

فألقاها موسى على الأرض، فانقلبت بإذن الله حية تسعى، فرأى موسى أمرًا عظيمًا وولى هاربًا.
