The Holy Quran 20:99 — Surah Taha

Arabic text

كَذَٰلِكَ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ مَا قَدْ سَبَقَ ۚ وَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَـٰكَ مِن لَّدُنَّا ذِكْرًا

Translation

Thus (as We have narrated to you the story of Moosa عليه الصلاة والسلام) do We narrate to you some of the incidents (events) that have passed. We have certainly given you advice (the Qur'aan) from Ourselves.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

كما قصصنا عليك - أيها الرسول - أنباء موسى وفرعون وقومهما، نخبرك بأنباء السابقين لك. وقد آتيناك مِن عندنا هذا القرآن ذكرى لمن يتذكر.
