The Holy Quran 20:15 — Surah Taha

Arabic text

إِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ ءَاتِيَةٌ أَكَادُ أُخْفِيهَا لِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍۭ بِمَا تَسْعَىٰ

Translation

"Qiyaamah is undoubtedly coming. I shall conceal (the time when) it (will come. Qiyaamah will have to come) so that every soul can be granted retribution (rewarded or punished) for its efforts."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

إن الساعة التي يُبعث فيها الناس آتية لا بد من وقوعها، أكاد أخفيها من نفسي، فكيف يعلمها أحد من المخلوقين; لكي تُجزى كل نفس بما عملت في الدنيا من خير أو شر.
