The Holy Quran 20:16 — Surah Taha

Arabic text

فَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكَ عَنْهَا مَن لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِهَا وَٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ فَتَرْدَىٰ

Translation

"The person who does not believe in it and who follows his carnal passions should never prevent (stop) you from it (from believing in Qiyaamah and from performing salaah), causing you to be destroyed (for being a Kaafir and a sinner)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

فلا يصرفنَّك - يا موسى - عن الإيمان بها والاستعداد لها مَن لا يصدق بوقوعها ولا يعمل لها، واتبع هوى نفسه، فكذَّب بها، فتهلك.
