The Holy Quran 20:108 — Surah Taha

Arabic text

يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلدَّاعِىَ لَا عِوَجَ لَهُۥ ۖ وَخَشَعَتِ ٱلْأَصْوَاتُ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ فَلَا تَسْمَعُ إِلَّا هَمْسًا

Translation

On that day (of Qiyaamah) they (the people after rising from their graves) will follow the caller (towards the Plain of Resurrection) without any deviation (without moving to the right or left). Voices will be lowered before Ar Rahmaan (in humility) and (it will be so quiet that) you will hear only the sound of footsteps (as people proceed towards the Plain of Resurrection).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

في ذلك اليوم يتبع الناس صوت الداعي إلى موقف القيامة، لا محيد عن دعوة الداعي; لأنها حق وصدق لجميع الخلق، وسكنت الأصوات خضوعًا للرحمن، فلا تسمع منها إلا صوتًا خفيًا.
