The Holy Quran 20:65 — Surah Taha

Arabic text

قَالُوا۟ يَـٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِمَّآ أَن تُلْقِىَ وَإِمَّآ أَن نَّكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَلْقَىٰ

Translation

They said, "O Moosa! Either you throw (your staff), or should we be the first to throw (our ropes and staffs)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قال السحرة: يا موسى إما أن تلقي عصاك أولا وإما أن نبدأ نحن فنلقي ما معنا.
