Reciting “اَدْخُلُوا” Instead of “اُدْخِلُوا” and “ظ” Instead of “ذ”
Question
What do the scholars of religion and the muftis of the firm Shari‘a say regarding this mas’ala: in prayer the imam, in the verse of Surah Nuh “مِّمَّا خَطِيٓـَٔـٰتِهِمْ أُغْرِقُوا۟ فَأُدْخِلُوا۟ نَارًا” (71:25), recited “فَادْخَلُوا” instead of “فَأُدْخِلُوا۟”. Since the meaning changed, we ask: is the prayer valid or not? (2) In the morning prayer, in the first rak‘a Surah al-Qiyama (juz’ “Tabaraka lladhi”) was recited, and in the second rak‘a the last ruku‘ of Surah al-Baqara (juz’ “Tilka l-rusul”)
Answer
The prayer is valid: the meaning did not change in such a way that the prayer would become fasid (invalid). (2) The prayer is valid, but doing this deliberately is makruh: [ar]وَيُكْرَهُ الْفَصْلُ بِسُورَةٍ قَصِيرَةٍ وَيَقْرَأُ مَنْكُوسًا[/ar] “It is makruh to separate [two suras] with a short sura, and to recite in reverse order” (“al-Durr al-Mukhtar”).
