How AI search is counted

AI search looks for an answer across a corpus of classical books and shows verbatim quotes with translation. Every request calls a language model and costs us real money, so plans express it as a budget rather than a number of requests. A fast request (quotes only) is cheaper, a standard one (with an answer and translation) costs more, deep research costs the most; repeating a question or asking follow-ups in the chat costs almost nothing. That is why the number of questions is approximate: it depends on which modes you use.

In your account and under the search box the budget is shown as a bar — “N% used” — with its expiry date, never as an amount.

If the AI budget runs out early, your yearly plan is unaffected: smart search as per your plan, the tracker, the calculators and everything else stay with you until the end of the year. And the AI budget can be topped up at any time: $7 (approximately 55 questions), $18 (approximately 140 questions) or $50 (approximately 400 questions) — for those who use it a lot and would rather not top up in small amounts. A top-up lasts until the end of your subscription, and at least 6 months.

Every registered user with a confirmed e-mail receives a one-time AI trial budget of approximately 5 questions.

What is free

• Without an account: all content, exact search, one calculation a day in each calculator.
• Registered free account: bookmarks, history, diary, day marks in the hayd tracker, smart search — 3 queries a day, calculators — 3 calculations a day, the AI trial budget.

Researcher mode for scholars and religious workers

Imams, teachers and researchers of the Sharia sciences who hold a Research+ subscription can apply for researcher mode, which is enabled free of charge. Regular deep research shows up to 60 quotes; in researcher mode you get every source found — up to 150 quotes, more books per question, no per-book cut-off. Such requests cost more and are paid from your AI budget as usual; their daily limit is doubled. Apply from your account on the “Subscription” tab; applications are reviewed by hand.

Payment and renewal

Subscriptions are yearly and paid by bank card or cryptocurrency. There is no automatic renewal: a few days before expiry we remind you by e-mail and in your account, and renewing takes one click. Subscribing and topping up the AI budget is done in your account, on the “Subscription” tab.

Refunds

Before buying, every registered user can see all features of the site and receives a free AI trial budget, so all payments are final and non-refundable. The service is delivered immediately upon payment: the plan is activated and the AI budget for the year is allocated; any unused balance is not refunded. Exceptions: a duplicate charge, or a service not delivered through our fault — we investigate such cases and refund; and cases where a refund is expressly required by the law of the buyer's country.
