Reciting a fatha instead of a damma, or ح instead of ه, or the reverse
Question
(1) If the imam, in his recitation, read a kasra instead of a damma in the word “تحضون”, is the prayer valid or not? (2) For example, if in the word “انفسكم” a fatha is read on the letter “س” instead of a damma, will the prayer be valid in that case or not? (3) If in the prayer the word was read correctly, but in articulation the sound of the big “ح” was heard instead of the small “ه”, or the sound of the small “ه” instead of the big “ح”, will the prayer be valid in that case or not? (4)
Answer
(1) It is valid: the meaning was not distorted by this. (2) If the meaning is not distorted, the prayer will not become fasid (invalid). (3) The answer to this is also like that of (2). (4) It is valid. (5) It is valid.
