Surah As-Saffat (الصافات)

Those who set the Ranks · Meccan · 182 ayahs · Juz 23

37:1
وَٱلصَّـٰٓفَّـٰتِ صَفًّا
By the oath of those angels who stand in rows (engaged in Ibaadah or awaiting instructions from Allaah)!
37:2
فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ زَجْرًا
And by those angels who (sternly) drive (the clouds to their destinations)!
37:3
فَٱلتَّـٰلِيَـٰتِ ذِكْرًا
And by those angels who recite the 'Reminder' (the Qur'aan)!
37:4
إِنَّ إِلَـٰهَكُمْ لَوَٰحِدٌ
Without doubt, your Ilaah is One.
37:5
رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَشَـٰرِقِ
He is the Rabb of the heavens, the earth, whatever is between the two and He is the Rabb of the points of the sun's rising (the various points on the eastern horizon from which the sun rises during the different seasons).
37:6
إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ ٱلْكَوَاكِبِ
Verily, We decorated (adorned) the sky of this world with the adornment (decoration) of the stars...
37:7
وَحِفْظًا مِّن كُلِّ شَيْطَـٰنٍ مَّارِدٍ
...as a protection from every rebellious Shaytaan.
