The Holy Quran 37:138 — Surah As-Saffat

Arabic text

وَبِٱلَّيْلِ ۗ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

Translation

...and at nights (en route to Shaam for trade). Do you not understand (that your fate will be the same for rejecting the message of Rasulullaah ﷺ)?

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وإنكم -يا أهل "مكة"- لتمرون في أسفاركم على منازل قوم لوط وآثارهم وقت الصباح، وتمرون عليها ليلا. أفلا تعقلون، فتخافوا أن يصيبكم مثل ما أصابهم؟
