The Holy Quran 37:71 — Surah As-Saffat

Arabic text

وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ أَكْثَرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

Translation

(In fact,) Most of the earlier people (of old) before them were (also) astray (like them).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ولقد ضلَّ عن الحق قبل قومك -أيها الرسول- أكثر الأمم السابقة.
