The Holy Quran 37:113 — Surah As-Saffat

Arabic text

وَبَـٰرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰٓ إِسْحَـٰقَ ۚ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌ وَظَالِمٌ لِّنَفْسِهِۦ مُبِينٌ

Translation

We blessed him (Ibraheem عليه الصلاة والسلام) and Ishaaq عليه الصلاة والسلام (with numerous favours such as Prophethood, knowledge and wisdom). From the progeny (children) of the two, there was the one who did good (the Mu'min), as well as the open oppressor of his soul (the Kaafir).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وأنزلنا عليهما البركة. ومِن ذريتهما من هو مطيع لربه، محسن لنفسه، ومَن هو ظالم لها ظلمًا بيِّنًا بكفره ومعصيته.
