The Holy Quran 37:137 — Surah As-Saffat

Arabic text

وَإِنَّكُمْ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهِم مُّصْبِحِينَ

Translation

You (people of Makkah) pass by them (the ruins of their cities) in the mornings...

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وإنكم -يا أهل «مكة» - لتمرون فى أسفاركم على منازل قوم لوط وآثارهم وقت الصباح، وتمرون عليها ليلا. أفلا تعقلون، فتخافوا أن يصيبكم مثل ما أصابهم؟
