Praying tarawih a second time after having prayed it once

Question

[ar]إذا صلى رجل بالناس وهو إمام الصلاة التراويح فهل يجوز له أن يصلي تلك الصلاة في مكان آخر جماعة؟ وهذه العادة قد تجري في مدارس في بلاد الشافعين[/ar] “If a man has led the people, being the imam of the tarawih prayer, may he pray that same prayer in congregation in another place? This custom occurs in madrasas in Shafi‘i lands.”

Answer

[ar]يجوز له الاقتداء في مسجد آخر، وليس له أن يؤم فيها إذا صلى مرة[/ar] “He may follow an imam (iqtida’) in another mosque, but he may not lead it (the tarawih) once he has prayed it one time.”
