Four rak‘as of tarawih without the first sitting

Question

(1) The intention (niyya) was made for two rak‘as of tarawih, but after two rak‘as the imam did not sit for the “al-tahiyyat”; he began to sit after the third, whereupon a muqtadi (follower) raised him by saying the takbir. Then after the fourth he gave the salam and did not perform sajda al-sahw (the prostration of forgetfulness). In this situation the following points need to be clarified. (1)
