Completing missed tarawih after witr

Question

If a person has two to four rak‘as of tarawih remaining, may he pray witr in congregation with the imam and then pray the rest of the tarawih afterwards? Is this correct or not?

Answer

If two to four rak‘as of tarawih remain and he joins the congregation of witr and then, after witr, prays the remaining tarawih, that too is correct (so it is in “al-‘Alamgiriyya”).
