The imam completing his own tarawih after leading the followers in eight rak‘as

Question

An imam first leads the Ahl-e Hadith in eight rak‘as of tarawih and leads [them in] witr, and after that completes his own twelve rak‘as separately. Is it permissible to do this or not?

Answer

There is no harm in leading them in eight rak‘as of tarawih and praying the remaining twelve rak‘as oneself.
