Translating the Friday khutba in the Shafi'i school

Question

[ar]نرجو منكم جوابًا من كتب الفقه من مذهب الشافعي عن ترجمة توابع خطبة الجمعة الأولى بلا تطويل، وهل يستوي ترجمة توابع الخطبة وأركانها على المنبر؟ وماذا حكم ترجمة الأركان في مذهب الشافعي ﵀ وأقوال أصحابه؟[/ar] We ask you for an answer from the books of fiqh of the Shafi'i school, without lengthiness: concerning the translation of the ancillary parts (tawabi') of the first Friday khutba; is [the ruling on] translating the ancillary parts of the khutba and its pillars (arkan) on the minbar the same?

Imam al-Nawawi said in “al-Minhaj”, and his commentator Ibn Hajar al-Haytami in “Tuhfat al-Muhtaj” (vol. 2, p. 450): [ar]ويشترط كونها -أي الأركان دون ما عداها- عربية للاتباع، نعم إن لم يكن فيهم من يحسنها ولم يمكن تعلمها قبل ضيق الوقت خطب منهم واحد بلسانهم، وإن أمكن تعلمها وجب على كل منهم، فإن مضت مدة إمكان تعلم واحد منهم ولم يتعلم عصوا كلهم ولا جمعة لهم، بل يصلون الظهر[/ar]…
