Dung Was Thrown into a Well, Then Its Water Was Used Daily: Has It Become Pure?
Question
On the way to the bazaar there is a well, and thirsty people drink water from it. It is estimated that on the two days of the week when the bazaar is held, sixty to seventy buckets of water from this well are used for drinking, and on the remaining days fifteen to twenty buckets. Some shepherd boys threw dung into the well, and two months have passed since the dung was thrown in. Whoever knew about it stopped drinking the water, but the water nevertheless continued to be used for drinking.
Answer
In this period the well has become pure; now let them have no doubt about it.
