A Drop Fell into the Well While Performing the Ghusl of Janaba

Question

A junub poured water over his head, then pulled up the bucket, and one or two drops fell into the well. What is the ruling?

Answer

If there is no real impurity (najasa haqiqiyya) along with that drop, then according to the preponderant (rajih) view the well has not become impure because of it. [ar]وهو، أي الماء المستعمل، طاهر ولو من جنب[/ar] “It, i.e. used water, is pure, even if [it is] from a junub” (al-Durr al-Mukhtar).
