A Shoe Fell into a Well

Question

A plastic shoe fell into a well. A search was made for it, and someone dived for it, but it could not be retrieved. Should all the water of the well now be drawn out or not?

Answer

A plastic shoe fell into the well, and even upon searching it is not there. If this shoe’s being impure is not known, the well will not be called impure. As a precaution, some water should be drawn out. If its being impure is known, then all the water should be drawn out.
