The Customary Shabina

Question

(1) Is it permissible, in the customary shabina (completing the recitation of the Qur’an in a single night), to recite the entire noble Qur’an in tarawih, [is it permissible] for the worshippers to bring food for the huffaz who recite the shabina, and [is it permissible] for the huffaz to eat [it]? (2) Is it permissible to distribute sweets on the completion of [the recitation of] the noble Qur’an in blessed Ramadan?

Answer

The completion of [the recitation of] the noble Qur’an in itself, especially in prayer, is a cause of reward, felicity and blessing, provided it is free of binding oneself to what is not binding (iltizam ma la yalzam) and of prohibited accompanying circumstances.
