Proclaiming salat and salam upon Adam ﵇ after the khatm in tarawih

Question

After the khatm of tarawih all the worshippers say aloud: [ar]الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ يَا آدَمُ صَفِيَّ اللَّهِ[/ar] “Blessings and peace, O Adam, chosen one of Allah!” Is this permissible?

Answer

This practice is not established from the hadith or from fiqh; it is a wrong practice and should be abandoned.
