Where the Second Adhan Should Be Given

Question

Should the second adhan of Jumu'a be given inside the mosque or outside the mosque?

Answer

This adhan is like the iqama; that is, it serves to inform those present in the mosque: now get ready for the khutba, finish your nafl, tasbih and recitation; so in al-Si'aya, the commentary on Sharh al-Wiqaya.
