Du'a after the Second Adhan of Jumu'a

What is the ruling on making du'a after the second adhan of Jumu'a?

Answer

A large group of scholars hold that responding to the adhan with the tongue is wajib: [ar]ويجيب وجوبًا، وقال الحلواني: ندبًا، والواجب الإجابة بالقدم، من سمع الأذان، بأن يقول بلسانه كمقالته[/ar] “And the one who hears the adhan responds — as a wajib (al-Halwani said: as a mandub, the wajib being the response with the feet)
