Who is sinful when forcible zina is not prevented

Question

‘Abd al-Matin ran off with the wife of his brother-in-law (his wife’s brother) and took her to his own house, yet his father-in-law, brother-in-law and others raise no objection and continue to show him hospitality and honour just as they would a son-in-law. The household of ‘Abd al-Matin’s father-in-law also eat and drink. So how many people are sinful in this forcible zina? Kindly write clearly.

Answer

The one sinful for committing zina is the fornicator himself. If anyone helped him in it, he too is sinful for helping. Whoever is pleased with his act is also sinful for being pleased. Whoever is able to stop him but does not stop him is also sinful for not stopping him.
