Visiting the Blessed Rawda ﷺ First in Hajj Badal

Question

I am setting out for Hajj badal on the ship of 28 Shawwal al-Mukarram, which will reach Jeddah by 5 Dhu’l-Qa‘da. Because of the winter season, my intention was, instead of going first to Madinah, to enter ihram for ‘Umra and go to Makka. But it became known that the one performing Hajj as a proxy can only perform ifrad, and there is no scope for tamattu‘.
