A fine for a fundraiser’s mistake
Question
Zayd and Bakr undertake a long journey to collect donations for the madrasa, expecting that two thousand rupees will certainly be raised. But after seventeen days of running about, the total donations come to about six hundred and fifty rupees, while the expenses come to roughly two hundred rupees, and not a single rupee was spent impermissibly.
