Using Mosque Property for Personal Needs

Question

When a man was building a house, from beginning to end he used water from the mosque’s pool, and also used the mosque’s property, for example a cauldron, a hoe, timbers and the like. May everyone use the mosque’s property in this way? What is the ruling of the Shariʿa?

Answer

Using the mosque’s property in this way is not correct; it is wrongful.
