Using Mosque Items for Personal Purposes

Question

May the property of the mosque be used outside the mosque or not? May mosque items — for example, a bucket, an ablution jug, a lantern, a candle and the like, and likewise a brick of the mosque — be taken as a loan and used outside, or not? And what is the ruling if one spreads out clothes in the mosque courtyard to dry them?

Answer

All of these are forbidden.
