Aqiqa with a cow or buffalo outside the days of sacrifice

Question: Outside the days of sacrifice, will an aqiqa for children with a buffalo and the like be valid, and likewise an aqiqa with a whole large animal for just one child, or not?

Answer

It will be valid.
