Building a guest house with the proceeds of sacrificial hides

Question

Question: May a guest house be built with the money from sacrificial hides or not? If it is not permissible, then there is an elementary religious school in the village — may it be turned into the guest house, and in place of the old school a school be set up with the money from sacrificial hides: is such an exchange correct or not? If making the exchange is not permissible, may the money from sacrificial hides be taken as a loan to build the guest house or not?

Answer

After the sacrifice has been performed, when its hide is sold, it is wajib to give its price away as sadaqa; spending it on building a guest house and the like is not permissible. As for the place that has been made waqf for the elementary religious school, turning it into a guest house and moving the school elsewhere in exchange is not permissible.
