Whether the sacrifice is wajib on an employee’s salary

Question

Question: Some employees who have large salaries become owners of the nisab during the days of sacrifice upon receiving their salary, but by the end of the month nothing remains with them. If these people perform the sacrifice, then at the end of the month they will face hardship and the need to borrow. Nor do they possess things such as gold and silver that would make them owners of the nisab. What is the ruling on the sacrifice for such people?

Answer

If his livelihood depends on this salary, and by performing the sacrifice it will become difficult to get by until the end of the month, then the sacrifice is not obligatory.
