Intention of sacrifice for an animal received as a gift

Question

One on whom the sacrifice is not wajib because of poverty — if he buys an animal for sacrifice, the sacrifice becomes wajib on him. Likewise, if without buying, someone gave him an animal as a gift or as sadaqa, and he made the intention in his heart to sacrifice it, does the sacrifice then also become wajib on him?

Answer

In this way the sacrifice does not become wajib on him (“Shalabi”, vol. 6, p. 5).
