Lying on a dry impure bed and the smell of sweat getting into pure clothes

Question

If a bed on which there is urine is dry and a person lies down on it, will the clothes he is wearing become impure through lying on it? And if in that state he sweats and the smell of that urine begins to come into the clothes, will the clothes become impure because of this? And what is the ruling if there is no smell but he sweats profusely?

Answer

If the bed is dry and the body has not sweated either, then neither the body nor the clothes become impure. If, however, the bed is clean and urine got onto the body or the clothes, or the bed is dry but the sweat was wet and the trace of the urine came into the clothes or onto the body, then because of this the ruling of impurity applies (“Radd al-Muhtar”, vol. 1, p. 231).
