Is Clothing Pure When Splashes Fall on It from Performing Wudu Sitting on the Ground?

Question

Usually, apart from in the mosque, people perform wudu sitting down on the ground. In this situation all the splashes from the ground fall on their clothes, and they perform the prayer in these same clothes. Are their clothes impure in this situation, or pure?

Answer

Because of these splashes the clothes do not become impure, and the prayer is valid. But doing so is contrary to cleanliness and caution.
