Removing Stool by Inserting a Finger While Fasting

Question

A man suffers from constipation. While fasting, he inserted his finger slightly and removed dry stool. Will the fast be broken or not? If it has been broken, will kaffara be obligatory or not?

Answer

If this was done with a dry finger, the fast will not be broken.
