Loud salawat and dhikr after every tarwiha

Question

Here, after every four rak‘as of tarawih, we hold a sitting of rest (jalsat al-istiraha), and in every sitting of rest the imam and all the followers recite salawat, the kalima of tawhid and istighfar in a loud voice. How is reciting in this way? Answer from the books of fiqh.

Answer

Reciting supplication and salawat quietly is better (afdal): [ar]ٱدْعُوا۟ رَبَّكُمْ تَضَرُّعًا وَخُفْيَةً[/ar] “Call upon your Lord humbly and in secret…” (the verse; Surah al-A‘raf, 7:55).
