What is approved and what is objectionable in tarawih

Question

Please write the sunna method of tarawih, and along with it also the objectionable things (munkarat) in tarawih.

Answer

Twenty rak‘as; the salam after every two rak‘as; a pause after every four rak‘as; completing (khatm) the entire Noble Qur’an; reciting the basmala aloud at the beginning of any one sura. Whatever is contrary to the sunna or newly invented — all of that is objectionable (munkarat). Whatever you wish to ask about, do ask.
