Two rak‘as after ‘isha’ with the intention of tahajjud

Question

If, at the time of ‘isha’, after the witr, one prays two rak‘as of nafl making the niyya “[at] the time of ‘isha’”, is that correct, or should one say “tahajjud” instead?

Answer

[The niyya of] the time of ‘isha’ is correct, although it is not necessary.
