Reading ض as د

Question

Will the prayer be [valid] or not if, in the prayer, one reads “وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ” (Surah al-Fatiha, 1:7) with the sound of dal?

Answer

Whoever is able to pronounce “ض” correctly and yet reads “د” in this place — his prayer will not be [valid].
