Reading “مَالَهُ” instead of “مَالُهُ” in Surah al-Lahab
Question
A person in the Maghrib prayer recited Surah al-Lahab and, instead of “مَالُهُ” (Surah al-Lahab, 111:2), inadvertently (sahwan) recited “مَالَهُ”. Will the prayer be valid, or is it necessary to repeat it?
Answer
The prayer did not become fasid because of this error: the meaning was not corrupted. Care should be taken to recite correctly.
