Repeating “Ihdina al-sirata al-mustaqim”
Question
Zayd recited Surah al-Fatiha up to [the word] “mustaqim”, and then recited again only “Ihdina al-sirata al-mustaqim” (Surah al-Fatiha, 1:6) and completed Surah al-Fatiha. In such a case, when “Ihdina al-sirata al-mustaqim” was recited twice, did any defect arise in the prayer or not, given that sajda al-sahw and the like was not performed? Please write the answer for both cases: whether it was done deliberately or because of doubt. (2)
Answer
Whether he recited “Ihdina al-sirata al-mustaqim” a second time deliberately or because of doubt, in either case sajda al-sahw is not wajib; the prayer is valid. (2) If they adjust the cloth with a slight movement so that the sajda can be done easily and there is no constriction, then in this case too the prayer will be valid; [it] will not be impermissible.
