If only one muqtadi remains afterwards, what should he do

Question

An imam and two muqtadis are praying. One muqtadi’s wudu’ is broken and he leaves, and the [other] muqtadi stays in his place and the imam in his, and thus they perform the prayer. Was the prayer valid or not?

Answer

It was valid.
