What should a worshipper in the first row do if his wudu’ breaks?
Question
At a time of great crowding, a person was in the front row and his wudu’ broke. May this person pass in front of the worshippers? [For] if he makes his way out by breaking through and cleaving the rows, this will cause harm to Muslims, and in a crowd it is very difficult to get through by cleaving many rows.
Answer
He will have to go out between two people of each row, and this is permitted. However, if it is difficult, he should sit down right there and not remain a participant in the prayer.
