Marrying the Children of One’s Milk Mother

Question

What is the ruling of the Shari‘a on this matter? Its details are as follows. (A): (1) daughter — died at a young age; (2) son; (3) son; (4) daughter — married; (5) son; (6) daughter — deceased; (7) son; (8) son; (9) daughter; (10) daughter. (B): (1) daughter — deceased; (2) daughter — deceased; (3) son; (4) son; (5) daughter — married; (6) son. A and B are relatives of each other: A is the brother’s wife and B is the husband’s sister, and they lived in the same place. B always had a shortage of milk.

Answer

Since B’s son no. 4 drank A’s milk, A became his milk mother, and all of A’s children became his milk brothers and sisters. His marriage with any daughter of A whatsoever is not permissible — it is absolutely haram. It makes no difference during the nursing period of which son or daughter of A he drank the milk. Likewise, apart from son no.
