Nikah of a Daughter’s Daughter with a Brother’s Son

Question

Zayd wishes to marry his own granddaughter — his daughter’s daughter — to his own nephew, his brother’s son. Is this nikah permissible according to the Shari‘a or not?

According to the Shari‘a, this nikah is valid.
