Praying Jumu'a in villages for the sake of teaching rulings
Question
If Jumu'a is prayed in villages so that a gathering takes place and the people learn some rulings and the like, is it permissible or not? If it is not prayed, the people will remain ignorant of the rulings.
Answer
It is impermissible. To teach the rulings, people should be gathered by other means — through the village council and the like.
